Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

  1. Submission

 

The manuscript should be directed to the Editor-in-Chief of JIReSH. Submissions must be made online by registered users via the Register | JIReSH (website address) or Login | JIReSH (website address) portal.

 

  1. Article Types

Types of Articles Published in JIReSH

  • Case Reports
    Manuscripts that present unusual or rare clinical cases along with their management. The recommended structure for case reports includes: title, abstract and keywords, introduction, case presentation, discussion, conclusion, conflict of interest (if applicable), consent form, acknowledgements (if applicable), and references.

  • Review Articles
    Manuscripts that address scientific topics other than original research, such as theoretical analyses, model development, descriptions of relevant phenomena, or evaluations of new products in the fields of medicine and health sciences. The suggested structure for review articles includes: title, abstract and keywords, introduction, discussion, conclusion, conflict of interest (if applicable), acknowledgements (if applicable), and references.

  • Research Articles
    Original scientific papers reporting research findings in medicine or health sciences, including results derived from theses or other research projects. The recommended structure for research articles includes: title, abstract and keywords, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusion, conflict of interest (if applicable), acknowledgements (if applicable), and references.
